This class will provide you with study skills and strategies to help you become more successful in all academic areas. You will have direct instruction in these strategies as well as time to apply them to your class assignments, homework, projects, etc.
During the first half of each class block, you will learn more about yourself as a student. You will discover new ways to take in and organize information, to study, to remember what you have learned, and to communicate with your teachers. These strategies will help you succeed in high school and in life.
During the second half of each class block, you will apply these strategies to the content from your other high school classes. It is very important that you bring books, binders, and folders from your other classes to this class.
